Hi. Well it looks like I lied about updating more... I've been busy working on film stuff. Anyways, now it's time for an awesome rendition of "Total Eclipse of the Hart" by Norwegian band, Hurra Torpedo.

I wish I started smashing playing kitchen appliances sooner.

Hello friends. I’m sorry for being MIA, I just finished with finals which means more updates for you. Hurray!

I took a ceramics class in the Spring and I made a fully functional robot teapot. It doesn’t have the best ergonomic design for pouring tea but who cares….it’s a robot! For those of you wondering…the head comes off as a lid.

Possibly next post I’ll have a picture of another ceramics piece I made

Did any of you watch the 1980s cartoon, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe? Re-edited and re-dubbed, The Skeletor Show is a weekly comedy made from clips of the old cartoon. Below is episode 2. click here for the rest of the shows.

For fans of the movie Napoleon Dynamite... here is a trailer of Jared Hess's next movie starting Jack Black. Looks freakin' awesome.

Sorry for the lack of updates, to those loyal fans still visiting my site you get a treat! Here is a picture of David Hasslehoff appearing in an Australian Pepsi ad. Now if only Chuck Norris would appear in commercials for sugary drinks.

Here is a short animation I made about a fly tied to a string.

Last week at the Atomic Cantina, friends and strangers alike witnessed the debut of indie-slop band, Ellis to the Albuquerque music scene. With a unique combination of catchy tunes wrapped around ear shattering distortion, Ellis provides a perfect blend of pleasure and pain to satisfy any sound junkie. On January 31, your new favorite “slumberpop/indie/noise band/collective” Ellis will be performing again at Burt’s Tiki Lounge downtown.

Joe recorded the ellis show with his digital camera with surprisingly decent sound… here are some clips. The last video is not from the show but I like it anyways… it shows Seth doing some improvised drumming in a warm-up session before the concert.

For those who have noticed that Joe and Nick are MIA, it’s because they have just moved into their first hobbit hole apartment which no internet. They wanted everyone know that they should have the internet back up soon so expect updates (Tuesday?).

Woot! Today’s update features work not by me! I recently found out my friend, Justin Lane has his own website. Justin was my first photo teacher and he builds and photographs surreal environments. Go check out his photography at www.justinchaselane.com.

Check out the music video for the White Stripes song, The Denial Twist by one of my favorite directors, Michel Gondry (the video has been out for sometime but but it's new to me).Gondry started out making music videos for his French pop-rock band (he was the drummer), Oui-Oui and since has made music videos for Bjork, Kylie Minogue, Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Cibo Matto, and others. If you haven’t already seen his feature length movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, you should watch it.

Last post I provided a link to an informational comic about creative commons. For those too lazy to read it, I found a cool flash video all about it…look who is in it! Link

Gallery Update: I just posted another photo project that I made shortly after I finished the Playing with Myself series. It’s full of fake moustache fun so check it out. Link

Another artist’s work I’d like to share with everyone this week is by professional photographer extraordinaire, Duane Michaels. Seeing his work partly inspired me to make my own photo narratives. My favorite work of his is a photo narrative called, Amazing Rick Dick Super Sleuth! Here is a Link. (I looked for a page with better layout but it was the only one I could find)

Here is link to a hilarious video piece that appeared on SNL a couple weeks ago. The piece is written by three guys from a comedy collective called, The Lonely Island. After their pilot called Awesometown was rejected by Fox, they released the pilot under a Creative Commons license and since got hired by SNL.

Who doesn't love Paper Mario? Not me. A few weeks ago I made my very own papercraft Mario. For those of you wondering what papercraft is, papercraft is a method where three-dimensional objects are made out of paper. Unlike origami, papercraft can be made out of many pieces of paper that are cut out and glued together. Here is a link to free layouts of the cutest papercraft Nintendo characters I've ever seen. I may need to make some friends for Mario.
